Your Guide to Golf in Jackson Hole
One is generally amazed that an area with such weather extremes has such a wide array of golfing options. In recent years the valley has seen a number of new private golf resort developments spring up, which were badly needed. Fortunately none in Yellowstone Park, yet. One can now choose from a number of options in the valley or within a short drive.
Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis
Opening in 1963, and redesigned in 1973 by Robert Trent Jones Jr. With uninterupted views of the Tetons and holes meandering along the Gros Ventre river this course immerses the player in the natural beauty of the region. Consistently ranked as one of Wyoming's top courses, and even in the country by Golf Digest Magazine. Presently undergoing a renovation which is sure to only enhance this already magnificent course.
Teton Pines
Designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, Teton Pines opened in 1987. Located on the western side of the Snake River nestled at the base of the Southern edge of the Teton range. Centrally located 8 miles from the town of Jackson and 4 miles from Teton Village. This course does support many water features, and remains relatively flat throughout.

Golfing over the pass in Idaho
Just a short drive over scenic Teton Pass there are a few more options available. These courses have lower prices and tend to have more available tee times than courses located in Jackson Hole.

Greens fees range from around $40 a person up to $160 or more per round.Transportation is not provided.
